What to say
- 'Quick update — the signature tool is back up.'
- 'Please retry any pending orders from the last hour.'
- 'I'll be at the central station if it fails again.'
What to capture
- What you announced and when
- Number of clinicians who retried
- Any follow-up questions raised
Common mistakes
- • Apologizing too much.
- • Explaining cause instead of action.
- • Forgetting to say where you'll be.
When to escalate
If a clinician shows distress or anger, pull them aside — never debate publicly.
